Some of our most precious memories will always be walking those steps in Israel with you and Richard. Richard had such a thirst for everything we were seeing. So thankful to call him friend. Now he is in the Master's presence. Love to you and Carin and all the family.

We are so sorry for all that happened to Richard before his death. It was hard to watch such a vivacious, active person taken down so drastically. But God gave Richard a peace that was impossible to describe. His love for the Lord served Richard well as he ended his life. What a witness you all have been. Rest in peace, Richard. And Debbie and Carin, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Blessings to you two and all of Richard's extended family that helped during this heart-wrenching time.

It was amazing looking at all the pictures and noticing the reaction of the people he was speaking to. They were all locked in and soaking up everything he had to say. Rest In Peace to one of the best teachers to ever teach.

If I may, I would like to shar the words of a song to honor Richard, my dear nephew: ‘Others, Lord, yes others,Let this my motto be, Help me to live for others, That I might live like Thee.’ This was Richard! OTHERS was not just his family, not just his friends, not just his church family, not just his neighbors, but OTHERS... the cashier in the store, the guy inthe gas station, the mailman, the barber, the lady in the bank, the man on the street, the kids on the playground, etc...he wanted to do for OTHERS, and he did! We will miss him dearly; his laughter, his smile, his compassion, his generosity, his willingness to do...for OTHERS . He had the spirit of a servant ...God blessed Richard with a very dear and loving family who willingly shared him with OTHERS. God blessed us his life. We love you Richard!

I am very sad to hear of Richard's passing. He was my 2nd cousin and I remember visiting his family home as a child. His parents were always very gracious and they had such a lovely Christian home. Everyone in Hazard thought very highly of Richard and his family. Condolences to all the family.
