Rosemarie Ahlmer, 99, of Scottsburg, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on July 11, 1918 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late John Ahlmer and Lillian Grace (Gibson) Ahlmer. Rose was a retired cashier and supervisor for St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a member of the American Martyrs Catholic Church in Scottsburg and the Shepherd Center in Carmel, Indiana. In addition, Rose had attended the Northwood Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Survivors include two nieces, JoAn (Alcorne) Symmes-Azure of Nabb, Indiana and Rose Marie (Alcorne) West of Scottsburg, Indiana and several more generations of nieces and nephews.
