Rosemarie H. Schmidt, 88, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at her residence. She was
born on July 21, 1925 in Muhlhausen, Germany, the daughter of the late Georg and Hedwig (Heymann) Urbach. Rosemarie was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church and a resident of Scott County since 1969. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank F. Schmidt; a grandson, Phillip Campbell and two sisters, Eva Schulze and Ruth Blumentritt. Survivors include a son, Frank Schmidt and his wife Teresa of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters, Carolyn Jean Duley and her husband Robert of Floyds Knobs, Indiana and Carol Marie Couch of Scottsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Nathan Couch, Lisa Craig, Cameron and Connor Schmidt and Carrie Senn; seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
