Savannah Raye Akemon, 16 of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born January 28, 1998 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Shawn Ryan Akemon and Staci (Huff) Akemon – Bontrager. She loved music. She was preceded in death by four great grandfathers, Michael Foist, Wallace Floyd, Robert Akemon and Wilmer Hoene and two great grandmothers, Esther Akemon and Mabel Hoene. Survivors include mother, Staci Akemon – Bontrager of Scottsburg, Indiana; her father & stepmother, Shawn & Pamela Akemon of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Malachi & Hunter Akemon both of Scottsburg, Indiana; a step brother, Xavier Beatrice of Scottsburg, Indiana; her maternal grandparents, Chuck & Susan Huff of Seymour, Indiana; her paternal grandparents, Phil & Jennie Hoene of Seymour, Indiana; her paternal grandfather, Robert Akemon of Lexington, Indiana; her step grandparents, Michael & Veronica Abbott of Scottsburg, Indiana; her great grandparents, Jim & Doris Huff, Nikki Foist & Jean Floyd all of Seymour, Indiana.
