Sharon Jo Howell, 50, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born January 11, 1964 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Melvin Clyde and Lois Eileen (Johnson) Vaughn, who survives. Sharon was married Dec. 10, 1999 to Guy R. Howell, who survives. She was a Program Coordinator with Wellspring in Louisville, Kentucky for 13 years. She was also employed as a executive secretary for Humana in Louisville, Kentucky and was also a professional belly dancer. She was a member of the Southeast Christian Church Indiana Campus in Clarksville, Indiana. She spent most of her life in Clark County, Indiana, graduated from Henryville High School Class of 1982 and IUS with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Survivors include her husband, Guy R. Howell; two daughters, Emily Rose & Grace Katherine Howell of Sellersburg, Indiana; her Mother: Lois E. Vaughn of Sellersburg, Indiana; two sisters: Sheila K. Campbell of Sarasota, Florida and Sonja S. Bernhart of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Several nieces & nephews. Cremation will follow service.
