Shirley Mae Bridgewater, 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1938 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Raymond Elliott Bridgewater and Inez Agnes (Gladden) Bridgewater. Shirley graduated from Lexington High School in 1956. After retirement, she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, gardening and flowers. Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Mae Beal; four brothers, Charles, Robert, Donald and Raymond Bridgewater and a sister, Mary Lou Woodson. Survivors include her son, Raymond Minton of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Joyce Ann Mullins of Woodstock, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Amy Gamez and Andrea Levine and six great grandchildren, Emilyanna, Brody, Zach, Chance, Draden and Kaitlyn.
