Steven E. Righthouse, 63, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on September 6, 1953 in Jackson County, Indiana, the son of the late Edward Righthouse and Fern (Colvin) Righthouse. Steve was a former employee of Kimball Office Furniture in Borden, Indiana, also a carpenter and loved playing poker and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James C. Righthouse; a sister, Diana Walton and a granddaughter, Izabella Righthouse. Survivors include four sons, Chase (Leslie) Righthouse and Steven (Rose) Righthouse all of Scottsburg, Indiana, Jeremy (Jenny) Righthouse of Pekin, Indiana and Chris McCurdy of Indianapolis, Indiana; a daughter, Chantel (Derek) Stutsman of Scottsburg, Indiana; three sisters, Regina Righthouse of Sellersburg, Indiana, Bonita McWilliams of Maryland and Yvonne Carol Lintz of Columbus, Indiana; three brothers, Larry Righthouse of New Albany, Indiana, Dennis Righthouse of Columbus, Indiana and Tony A. Righthouse of Scottsburg, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Blake, Emily, Abbie, Wyatt and Hadlie Righthouse, Moriah Gibson-Berger, Taeson and Paisli Stutsman and a great granddaughter, Emma Righthouse.
