Teresa C. Matthews, 48, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 19, 1965 in Seymour, Indiana, the daughter of the late Robert D. Williams Jr. and Beth Joy (Baldwin) Fisher. Teresa graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1983 and then earned her nursing degree from Ivy Tech. She was a registered nurse for Fresenius in Clarksville and Madison, Indiana, also worked for the old Dr. Quarishi Medical Office in Austin, Indiana and was a former member and very active in the Scottsburg Band Parents Association. Survivors include her Fiancé, Johnny Graham of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Ethan Matthews of Scottsburg, Indiana; a daughter, Stephanie Matthews and her husband Dillon Hopper of Oceanside, California; “Adopted” son, Coltin Springate of Griffith, Indiana; a stepbrother, James V. Fisher, Jr. of Kona, Hawaii; two stepsisters, Laura Beth Condry and Amy Sue Dudley both of Seymour, Indiana; mother in law, Betty Matthews of Sellersburg, Indiana.
