Thedosia “Doe” Tidwell, 78, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at River Crossing Nursing Home in Charlestown, Indiana. She was born on March 12, 1941 in Bradshaw, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Edgel C. Dudleson and Vivian (Spence) Dudleson. Doe was a retired L.P.N. from The Waters of Scottsburg, had also worked at the Hampton Oaks and had been a former Real Estate Agent. She loved to be outside, working in her flower gardens, reading and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Dioe was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Charles Tidwell on April 1, 2011; three half sisters, Sylvia Hill, Willia Mae Addair and Lola Marie Horne and two half brothers, Harold and Robert Dudleson. Survivors include two sons, Charles D. Tidwell of Scottsburg, Indiana and Douglas A. Tidwell of Louisville, Kentucky; two daughters, Donna Basenburg of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Joyce Keller of Scottsburg, Indiana; a half brother, Ernest Dudleson of Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Jessica and Vanessa Basenburg, Melissa Sewell, Sarah Lingross, Joshua Keller, Zachary and Lexie Tidwell and eight great grandchildren, Cerina, Ashley, Makayla, Christian, Anthony, Koda, Zoey and Evelyn and the father of her two daughters, James Alexander of Arkansas.
