Tyler Scott Canfield, 19, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 near Goodland, Indiana. He was born on September 25, 1998 in Madison, Indiana, the son of John Harrison Canfield and Christi Bowen. Tyler graduated from Scottsburg High School in the Class of 2017. He was a service representative for Madison Auto Center and Napa Care Center in Madison, Indiana. Tyler had also worked at numerous other places including Elliott Auto, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s in Scottsburg and Dairy Queen and Snappy’s Pizza in Brownstown, Indiana. He loved cars and especially imports. Survivors include his fiancé, Annette Hite of Salem, Indiana; mother, Christi Bowen of Brownstown, Indiana; father, John Canfield of Madison, Indiana; two sisters, Amber Hord of Madison, Indiana and Abi Bowen of Brownstown, Indiana; a brother, Skylar Bowen of Brownstown, Indiana; grandparents, Harry and Kathy Bowen of Lexington, Indiana and Virginia A. Barron of Madison, Indiana; great grandfather, Ward Bowen of Lexington, Indiana; a nephew, Domenic Hord; a niece, Nikki Durham; three aunts, Crystal May, Gretchen Canfield and Cheryl Gates (Wayne) and one uncle, Steve Canfield. The family requests expressions of sympathy be given to Collins Funeral Home to help the family with the funeral expenses c/o Collins Family Funeral Home, 465 W. McClain Ave., Scottsburg, IN 47170. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Franklin Cemetery near Salem, Indiana. Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and after 9 am Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home.
