Vada Marie (Pruitt) Bright, 74, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Baptist Floyd Health in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on October 11, 1944 in Surgoinsville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ina (Brown) Pruitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tony Bright; a daughter, Tammie Donohue; two brothers, Barnie and Fenton Pruitt and one sister, Reba Pruitt. Survivors include a daughter, Katrina Spicer (Tim) of Clarksville, Indiana; two brothers, Emmanuel Pruitt and Robert Pruitt (Mary Jane) all of Surgoinsville, Tennessee; two sisters, Phyllis Golden of Rogersville, Tennessee and Sue Hinkle of Surgoinsville, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Bradley Donohue (Kristal), Lucas Guthrie (Ashley) and David Hall and one great grandson, Mason Guthrie.
