Vernon Lee Couch, 85, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Scott Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 29, 1932 in Busy, Kentucky, the son of the late Brack Couch and Jesse (Feltner) Couch. Vernon was a retired laborer from Arvin’s Industries in Columbus, Indiana, where he worked for 22 years and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing solitaire and spending time with his family and grandkids. Vernon was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Couch; seven brothers, Elmer, B.J., Kenneth, Bradley, Eugene, Clifton and Rollie Couch. Survivors include three sons, Wesley Couch of Texas, Jeff Couch and David Couch both of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Alva June Adkins of Austin, Indiana; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dawn Couch and Alexander Larry Couch and a great granddaughter, Alayna.
