Viola May Montgomery, 97, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Scott Memorial Hospital.   She was born on September 20, 1917 in Henryville, Indiana, the daughter of the late David Pearl and Maude Catherine (Sigman) Prall.  Viola was married to Lebert  Montgomery, who passed away on April 9, 1974.  She was a retired registered nurse, a member of Henryville Community Church in Henryville, Indiana and the Scott County Widow’s Tea Group. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Howard Prall; a granddaughter, Laryssa Parks Blevins and a grandson.  Survivors include three sons, Dwight Montgomery (Kristi) of Dayton, Ohio, Dennis Scott Montgomery (Cyndi) of Seymour, Indiana and Gerald Montgomery (Mary) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two daughters, Linda Parks (Lawrence) and Arless Sexton all of Scottsburg, Indiana; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.   Memorial Contributions: Crusade for Children c/o Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.  Online condolences:www.collinsfuneralhome.net.
