William August “Bill” Ahlborn, Sr., 36, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born on April 12, 1980 in Delaware, Ohio. Bill graduated from Central Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, Kentucky in 1998 and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked as a self-employed residential and commercial contractor for At Your Service Remodeling and was a member of the One Community Church both in Clarksville, Indiana. Bill loved his children and family very much. He was also a dog lover and an avid reader. Survivors include his Fiancé, Amanda Alexander of Clarksville, Indiana; a daughter, Sophia R. Ahlborn of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, William August “Liam” Ahlborn, Jr. of Clarksville, Indiana; two stepdaughters, Hope Michelle Allen and Daici Fae Alexander both of Clarksville, Indiana; his mother, Lisa L. Hayes (Emzy Thornsberry, Sr. ) of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Trish Sandlin (Derrick) of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepsister, Beth Hounshell of Austin, Indiana; his grandparents, Perry Lynn and Patricia Hayes of Scottsburg, Indiana; his aunt, Tina Konkler (John) of Scottsburg, Indiana; two nieces, Shelby Sandlin and Emily Keller and also loving in laws, Glenda and Terry Prewitt, Tyler Heat and Jean Dorman.
