Wilma “Granny” Back, 91, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Hickory Creek of Scottsburg. She was born August 13, 1922 in London, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Watson and Nettie (Combs) Dixon. Granny was married to Dexter Back, who passed away on May 9, 1979. She was a homemaker, attended the Green Street Chapel in Scottsburg, Indiana and a resident of Scott County since 1946. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Eugene Back, who passed away June 27, 1952 and four brothers, Paul, Charles, Ralph and Beryl Dixon. Survivors include a son, Dean Back and his wife Joyce of Columbus, Indiana; two grandchildren, David Back (Amy) and Jeri Back (Shelley Pieros); five great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
