Wilmer E. “Wil” Watson, 85 of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Wellington Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 6, 1931 in Clark County, Indiana, the son of the late John E. Watson and Inez (McCoy) Watson. Wil was a retired internal investigator for Prudential Insurance Company and a member of the Lakeside Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he had served as Treasurer for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Neva Newlin. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Wilma F. (Staples) Watson; two daughters, Karen Marberger and her husband Tom of Asheville, North Carolina and Ava Joy Watson of Boca Raton, Florida; a son, Stephen M. Watson of Lake Worth, Florida; three brothers, Dale Watson (Ann) of Alberta, Canada, Lowell Watson (Mary Ann) of Austin, Texas and Gary Watson of Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Reva Dietrich of Henryville, Indiana and Cheryl Davenport (Dick) of Scottsburg, Indiana; four grandchildren, Ryan Donahue (Susana), Christin Donahue-Salas (Armando), Charles Donahue (Cori) and Stephanie Donahue (Sean Collins) and four great grandchildren, Jack and Michael Donahue and Mateo and Mariela Salas.
